1998: arcenciel receives funding from the Spanish Agency AECI to improve the rest of the building. The decision is to buy the whole plot of 11,000 m2 to expand the center. Renovations took place: electricity, heating, painting ... The usable area of 100m ² goes up to 600 m² with a 400 m² mezzanine for additional inventory. New activities are implemented: physiotherapy and consultations.
1999: the center in Tanaïl is accredited by the Ministry of Social Affairs for the manufacture of technical aids

This funding, in the order of 600 000 Euro, is provided by the NGO "Handicap International" through the Luxembourg Cooperation (Ministry of Foreign Affairs)
