The soul of arcenciel

The institutional culture of arcenciel is a life program. arcenciel’s team members have chosen to live an authentic christianism and to put in practice christian values that have been ill-used during the years of war, and that is by leading a life dedicated to serving others.

      arcenciel aims at promoting a certain social awareness based on two main convictions:



“differences enriched "

It is not about denying difference: in our opinion, this attitude, hidden behind egalitarian claims, does not respect the person in difficulty which lives with this difference deep in their hearts. Nor is it about trying to “normalize” this difference because it will inevitably be categorized as a disposition of inferiority. In fact, this difference is perceived as an enriching factor. After all isn’t the difference between two people the reason behind the richness of their encounter?


“every person is capable of progressing”

the organization is convinced that every person, no matter what the nature or seriousness of their difficulties might be, is capable of progressing. Such a conviction radically changes the perception that we might have of it, and thus directs the actions taken to help it towards domains that haven’t been investigated by other existing organizations
