A need
nabad is an opportunity created upon a certain conjuncture; NGOs who are mostly dependent on donors and they lack opportunities for sustainable income generating projects. The private sector with its rich knowledge and experience is traditionally devoted to profit making and sometimes unwilling to open up to young entrepreneurs, and socio-economical problems on society’s most vulnerable and marginalized groups .
Social entrepreneurship
Social entrepreneurship answers the need to generate and sustain income while serving a cause. A Social Entrepreneurship Incubator makes the opportunity to generate and sustain income while serving a cause accessible to everyone.

The competition
The one year program will follow up by reach outs and road shows
throughout the regions. 250 project proposals will be gathered, 50 will be selected of which 15 finalists will be chosen and will receive personal mentoring and coaching, along with the financial support.

1- Level of impact on marginalised groups
• Youth, women, people with low income, people with special needs, refugees, inmates/ former prisoners, people struggling with addictions...
2. Choice of sector
• Primary sectors mainly; education, health, environment, technology for development, justice, Human Rights, agriculture, energy, public services, culture, art...
3. Type of social innovation
• Innovation or benefit of product/service; means of production; accessibility; ultimate added value ...
4. Business Model
•Ability to generate income in a sustainable manner
5. Use and preservation of local resources and assets
• Encourages reliance on local assets and resources while preserving them
6. Social entrepreneur technical and personal capabilities
• Ethics, technical skills, social competencies, etc.
